His most important question is: What is freedom in terms of rational and traditional reasoning against what is expressed in the West as positive and negative freedom? And what area it implies? He by distinguishing between the three concepts of "emancipation", "freedom," and "authority", It seeks to define freedom as 'rightful authority' and to explain the spaces of such definition in several areas of freedom of opinion and freedom of expression. In addition, he has attempted to examine the theoretical and practical limitations of this freedom and to provide a way for it to be realized in the religious community. At the end of the article, the author seeks to examine the possibilities and difficulties of Allameh Jafari's approach about freedom, until perhaps we can work for now. علامه محمدتقی جعفری (رضوان الله تعالی علیه) از جمله عالمان زمان‎شناس است که در کشاکش مناقشات نیروهای مذهبی و غیرمذهبی درباره بافت آزادی در بین انقلاب مشروطه و انقلاب اسلامی به تأملات فلسفی مهمی پرداخته است. مهم‎ترین پرسشی که او دراین‎باره دارد، آن است که آزادی از منظر ادله عقلی و درون نصی در برابر آنچه در غرب به آزادی مثبت و منفی بیان می‎شود، چیست و بر چه قلمروهایی دلالت دارد؟ او با تفاوت‎نهادن میان سه مفهوم «رهایی»، «آزادی» و «اختیار» تلاش می‎کند آزادی را «اختیار شایسته» تعریف نماید و فضاهای چنین تعریفی را در چند قلمرو آزادی عقیده، آزادی بیان تبیین نماید. علاوه بر این او کوشیده است محدودیت‎های نظری و عملی این آزادی را بررسی و راهی به سوی تحقق آن در جامعه دینی فراهم آورد. در پایان این مقاله مؤلف می‎کوشد امکانات و مشکلات رویکرد علامه جعفری به آزادی گفته شده را بررسی کند تا شاید برای اکنون ما به کار آید. https://qabasat.iict.ac.ir/article_38299_beaf594a6ef2fcec5f012455dda9c81f.pdf
