In addition to explaining the important functions of revelation such as the idea that any testimony indicating that a message has been sent by God to human beings makes the assumption of His existence far more probable and neutralizes arguments against the existence of God—we also discuss the necessity of verbal revelation for humankind. Swinburne believes in verbal divine revelation and considers God’s self-manifestation to humans merely in the form of divine action to be ineffective. Furthermore, we investigate how the divine origin of revelation can be authenticated, and through this inquiry we come to recognize the necessity of miracles. In the discussion on miracles, we analyze whether a miracle merely serves to prove the truthfulness of a prophet’s claim or whether it also demonstrates the existence of God. On the other hand, modern atheism represented by figures such as Richard Dawkins claims that revealed scripture is false. Sam Harris also raises objections such as the purely human nature of sacred texts and the claim that even the interpretation of these texts cannot rescue them from criticism and contradiction. ین مقاله با رویکرد تحلیلی ـ انتقادی، «چرایی»، «چگونگی» و «اعتبارسنجی» وحیِ کلامی را در چارچوب فلسفه دینِ تحلیلیِ ریچارد سوئین‌برن بررسی می‌کند و سپس میزانِ کارآمدی این چارچوب را در برابر بخشی از انتقادات الحادِ مدرن ـ به‌ویژه نزد ریچارد داوکینز، سم هریس می‌سنجد و ضمن بیان کارکرد های مهم وحی( از جمله اینکه هر گواهی که نشان دهد پیامی از جانب خدا بر بندگان نازل شده فرض موجودیت وی را بسیار محتمل تر می سازد به علاوه، براهین علیه هستی خدا را بی اثر می کند) و لزوم وحی کلامی بر بندگان( وی معتقد به وحی کلامی خداوند است و تجلی گری خدا بر انسان را در غالب فعل الهی بی ثمر می داند) و اینکه چگونه می توان الهی بودن وحی را اعتبارسنجی کرد به ضرورت معجزه پی میبریم و در بحث از معجزه بررسی می شود که آیا معجزه صرفا جهت اثبات صدق ادعا پیامبر است یا اثبات وجود خدا هم می کند. در سویی دیگر، الحاد مدرن از جمله ریچارد داوکینز دعوای باطل بودن کلام وحی را دارد و سم هریس اشکالاتی چون بشری بودن محض کتاب مقدس و اینکه حتی تفسیر متون مقدس نمی تواند آنها را از تعرض و تناقض برهاند را مطرح می کند. لکن، از نظر جمیز تیلور ملحدان مدرن تصور نادرستی از شروط آسمانی بودن یک کتاب دارند. این مقاله بر اساس دیدگاه سوئین‌برن و همچنین پاسخ های وی به الحاد مدرن و با هدف اثبات ضرورت وحی و نیاز بشر به کلام الهی تنظیم شده است. https://qabasat.iict.ac.ir/article_738067_0a4eb643efa77c8ee5b44f6a743ca616.pdf
