"Philosophy of progress" is one of the modaf (genitive) philosophies that engage with a concrete and social reality, aiming to investigate the what, why, and how of progress through a rational and meta-perspectival lens. This investigation is conducted using the method of rational analysis and involves conceptual, theoretical, structural, axiological, and normative examination. This paper seeks to elucidate and explain the epistemological system—that is, the levels of discourse that constitute the philosophy of progress. Through an analysis of the epistemic position of the philosophy of progress about the disciplines of the human sciences and Islamic sciences, this research attempts to uncover and explicate the intellectual process through which the literature of progress has emerged. This goal is pursued by employing conceptual and theoretical analysis of the structure of knowledge, based on the interrelationships between its various levels—from the most foundational philosophical and theoretical levels to the most concrete and practical expressions. The innovation of this study lies in its integrative depiction of the stratified system of knowledge underlying the values, philosophical principles, and scientific aspects of progress, presented as a unified and coherent epistemic framework following a critical analysis of existing discussions in the philosophy of progress.
